Whereas no motor racing team has won since 1962. McLaren and Williams never won in their pomp. Given some of the field-fillers who won the award over that period...
Europe have won the Ryder Cup 6 times since 2010 and have taken the team of the year award twice.

I've never been able to get into motor sport and F1 in particular - it's just too elitist, there are almost certainly lads out there who would have made better drivers, but whose Daddies weren't rich or well connected enough for them to get a look in. Elitist in the extreme and just nothing that I could ever connect with.
TL;DR - it's shite ????
