Club Statement – Walton & Hersham (H)

At the home game with Walton & Hersham on Saturday afternoon, a fine evenings football between two quality sides was regrettably interrupted by some unfortunate and totally unacceptable comments directed at two of the Poole players. Our excellent stewards were assisted by both home and away fans in identifying those responsible and five Walton & Hersham supporters were asked to vacate the ground which they duly did. The matter was noted by the match referee and reported to Walton & Hersham officials.

We will not tolerate any sort of racially abusive language at Poole, it has no part to play in what we do and any perpetrators will be dealt with appropriately.

I would also like to thank our supporters who acted admirably and we are ever so grateful to our fans for their ongoing support so far this season.
