Watch: Dybala ends flawless Roma penalty record at Milan and injures himself in the process
It was an evening to forget for Roma forward Paulo Dybala, who not only had a penalty saved by Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan in the fierce clash at San Siro, but injured himself in the process and had to come off for the closing stages.
Milan took the lead in the first half after a quick counter-attack, spearheaded by Rafael Leao, who squared the ball to goalscorer Strahinja Pavlovic.

Dybala’s penalty gave the Giallorossi a chance to blow the match wide open but Dybala’s penalty was poor and Maignan confidently saved it.
It brings to an end Dybala’s flawless penalty record at Roma, as Opta note it is the first penalty he has not scored in 19 attempts with the club. In fact, his last penalty he did not score came in November 2021 with Juventus against Salernitana.
