Scotland v Denmark World Cup qualifier Build-up at Bar 1867

Scotland v Denmark World Cup qualifier build-up at Bar 1867

AMERICA is in sight – so where better to warm up for the World Cup crunch than Mount FLORIDA?

Bar 1867, in the JB McAlpine Pavilion at the home of Queen’s Park FC, will be open for all the build-up to Scotland’s crunch clash against Denmark.

It’s a play-off at worst for Steve Clarke’s side – but a win over Denmark could send us Stateside and kick-off a party that’s been 27 years in the making.

But you can get in the party spirit pre-match when the big game arrives on November 18 with Bar 1867 at The city Stadium open ahead of the game.

The Tartan Army can enjoy a pre-match drink on-site as close to kick-off as possible with just a two-minute walk to the turnstiles at Hampden.

The venue overlooks the pitch used by the Spiders in the William Hill Championship that doubles as the international training field for Andy Robertson, John McGinn, Billy Gilmour and Scott McTominay.

Doors open at 5pm ahead of the 7.45pm kick-off.

One of the benefits of being a Queen’s Park FC member or season ticket holder, is priority access to these busy events and supporters wishing to take advantage of this early offer can book discounted places by calling the office on 0141 632 1275 or emailing hospitality@queensparkfc.co.uk, to beat the public sale as well as the queues with the bar just a long throw-in away from Hampden.

Tickets cost £10 per person and include a welcome drink (bottled Budweiser or Peroni, draught Tennent’s Lager, house spirit or wine, or a soft drink) plus a pie on arrival.

Queen’s Park members and season ticket holders will also benefit from a discounted entry of £5, per match, with the welcome drink and snack included.

To book a place, contact the club on 0141 632 1275 or email  – please remember to include your membership, or season ticket, details where appropriate.
