Thuram hushes injury fears and Inter Champions League final repeat: ‘Long way to go’
Marcus Thuram insists that there is nothing to worry about regarding a potential injury after Inter’s 3-0 Champions League victory over Slavia Prague, and says that it is far too soon to say whether the Nerazzurri are capable of making it all the way to the final again.
Thuram was among the star performers as Inter picked up a 3-0 win over Slavia Prague in the Champions League league phase to maintain their winning start in the competition after two matches.
A brace from Lautaro Martinez and another Champions League goal from wing-back Denzel Dumfries gave the Nerazzurri the three points in San Siro on Tuesday night.

Thuram on Inter’s Champions League hopes: ‘We’re only in September’
The France international was seen limping after full-time, but insists that there is nothing to worry about regarding a potential injury.
“I think it’s a small thing, nothing serious,” he told Sky Sport Italia after full-time.
On his side’s professional performance against underdog opposition in Slavia Prague, Thuram said: “It’s always tough in the Champions League. We had to take it seriously and play the game that we played tonight.
“The important thing is to not concede goals, since we are usually okay at scoring. We’re improving and hope to improve even more.”
And when asked if he thinks that Inter can go all the way to the Champions League final again, Thuram replied: “I take things game by game, we’ll see after that. The Champions League is really long, we’re only in September.”
