Adobe Women’s FA Cup – Second Round Qualifying
The tie is set to take place at the Saunders Transport Community Stadium on Sunday 21st September, with a 2pm kick-off.
Admission prices will be confirmed once agreed.
Oxford City Women compete in the Southern Region Women’s Football League Premier and have started their respective campaign with a win (3-2 over Sholing Women) and a draw (4-4 with Southampton Women).
Craig Shields’ Boro booked their place in the Second Round Qualifying of the competition with a 2-0 home victory over East Midlands Regional Women’s Football League Division One South side Brackley Town Ladies.
A second half brace from striker Ellie Stalley helped see off the Tier Six opponents at the Saunders Transport Community Stadium last weekend.
Competition Format
In matches up to and including the Second Round Proper, when a match is drawn at full time, the winner shall be determined by the taking of kicks from the penalty mark in accordance with the procedure adopted by the International Football Association Board.
Prize Fund
Winning Clubs in the Second Round Qualifying receive £3,000 from The FA’s Prize Fund, while losing Clubs pick up £750.
