Djed Spence did something really classy in the Tottenham dressing room this week
Alasdair Gold has revealed that Djed Spence did something very classy for a Newcastle youngster following Heung-min Son’s final game for Tottenham on Sunday.
As expected, it was an emotional day at the Seoul World Cup Stadium as Son said his goodbyes to Tottenham, donning the Spurs shirt for the final time.
The Newcastle and the Spurs players gave him a guard of honour when the South Korean was substituted, which shows the kind of respect his peers have for him.
Son gave an emotional goodbye message to his teammates and Spurs fans, and admitted that he will be cheering the club on as a supporter from now on.

Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has now revealed that after the end of the game, Spence noticed that Newcastle’s young Korean recruit Park Seung-soo was waiting nervously outside the Tottenham dressing room.
The 19-year-old had stood there respectfully for some time, holding his match shirt in his hand.
Spence, who came up against the teenager in the latter stages of the 1-1 draw, waved to him to come over to the Spurs changing room.
Moments later, a smiling Park emerged from the Tottenham Hotspur dressing room with a signed shirt, which he reportedly held aloft for the local media.
Son gives parting advice to Yang Min-hyeok
Like Newcastle, Tottenham themselves have a young Korean teenage winger in their ranks: Yang Min-hyeok, who Spurs hope will follow in Son’s footsteps over the long term.
As a parting message, Son advised Yang to focus on one thing at a time and to improve every single day instead of looking too far into the future.
Thomas Frank has said that he sees a lot of promise in Yang, but admitted that the youngster needs to continue working hard to improve if he wants to challenge for a place in the Tottenham team.
