Atletico Madrid enquire after Italy international Raspadori – Price tag revealed
Reports in Italy claim that Atletico Madrid have recently made an enquiry over Napoli-owned Italy international Giacomo Raspadori following his Scudetto success with the Partenopei last season.
Reports Atletico Madrid plotting Raspadori bid
According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio, Atletico Madrid have asked after Napoli’s Raspadori, while updates from Sky Sport Italia claim that Diego Simeone’s side are already prepared to make an offer for the 25-year-old.
Thursday’s reports claim that Atleti are willing to submit a bid for €25m plus up to €5m in bonuses, while Napoli are seeking a fixed fee of €30m, not including add-ons.
There are other names in Serie A that Atletico Madrid are considering, though, including Juventus’s Nico Gonzalez, who is also an option for Inter in the event that their deal with Atalanta for Ademola Lookman falls through.
Raspadori, meanwhile, could see his game time reduced at Napoli after a summer of heavy spending, which has brought the arrivals of forwards Lorenzo Lucca and Noa Lang, with potentially one more option still to come in.
The 40-time Italy international was in and out of the Napoli starting XI for large spells of the Scudetto-winning 2024-25 season under Antonio Conte anyway, having made 26 appearances in Serie A last term, only 11 of which were starts.
He ended the campaign with a tally of six goals.
