Done Deal: Pobega leaves Milan for Bologna in total 8m package
The deal is done for Tommaso Pobega to leave Milan and return to Bologna, on loan for €1m with obligation to buy for a further €7m.
According to Sky Sport Italia transfer pundit Gianluca Di Marzio, the clubs shook hands and this evening he will already be at the pre-season training camp with his new teammates.
They are of course new to a degree, seeing as Pobega was already on loan at the Stadio Dall’Ara last season.
He made 30 competitive appearances for the Rossoblu, helping them win the Coppa Italia Final against Milan, with four goals and three assists to his name.
Pobega back at Bologna
When the midfielder made the move last summer, it was with an option to buy set at €12m, but Bologna decided not to activate it.
Instead, they were able to negotiate the new terms of a different transfer, still on loan with an option to buy for a total €12m.
A product of the Milan youth academy, he has been out on loans to Ternana, Pordenone, Spezia and Torino before heading to Bologna last season.
