The Saudi Pro League side made a second €53m bid for the Italian striker, but Atalanta turned down their proposal, aiming to cash in at least €60m from the striker’s departure.
Retegui has been offered a €20m-a-year contract offer and is tempted to join the Saudi team.

Retegui joined Atalanta from Genoa in a €20m deal last year.
The Argentine-born striker was the top scorer in Serie A last season, netting 25 goals in 36 matches.
