Inter and Roma learn asking price for Palmeiras midfielder Rios
Inter and Roma are the two Serie A sides in the growing list of clubs interested in pursuing a deal for Palmeiras midfielder Richard Rios, who is expected to be on the move for a price tag in the region of €30m.
Rios impressed with his performances for Palmeiras during the FIFA Club World Cup in the Unites States, and has recently been dubbed one of the most sought-after players available in South America.
According to updates from Fabrizio Romano, both Inter and Roma have been in contact with Palmeiras to discuss the 25-year-old’s availability.
Rios asking price revealed for Inter and Roma
Both clubs have since learned that the Colombia international will be available for a fee in the region of €30m.
Rios has spent the last two-and-a-half years with Palmeiras, where he has provided 11 goals from 136 appearances across all competitions.
The Colombian had originally trained as a futsal player, but then joined Flamengo relatively late at the age of 19. He also has experiences with Brazilian second-division outfit Guarani on his CV.
