Reports Osimhen agrees terms with Galatasaray but still missing Napoli agreement
Monday’s reports claim that Victor Osimhen has agreed personal terms with Galatasaray, but the Turkish giants do not yet have an agreement in place with Napoli.
Osimhen, who provided 37 goals and eight assists from 41 appearances during his loan spell with Galatasaray in 2024-25, is expected to be sold by his parent club, Napoli, this summer.
The Nigeria international has a €75m release clause in his contract, valid for teams outside of Serie A this summer.
Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal had been prepared to match the €75m release clause in Osimhen’s contract, but the player himself later decided against the move.
Now, Galatasaray have reportedly stepped forwards with a proposal to sign the 26-year-old on a permanent basis after an overwhelmingly successful loan spell in Istanbul last season.
Reports Osimhen has Galatasaray agreement
Reports from Yağız Sabuncuoğlu on Monday claim that Osimhen and Galatasaray have an agreement on personal terms for a three-year contract with the option of an additional 12 months in place.
Fabrizio Romano adds that Galatasaray have also sent an opening proposal to Napoli, but the bid is unlikely to satisfy the Partenopei demands.
Galatasaray have reportedly offered an initial fee of €50m with up to €5m in bonuses for the Nigeria international, while Napoli are pushing for more, likely closer to the €75m release clause in the player’s contract.
