Tottenham announce great news for fans who missed Europa League final tickets

0 2

The Spurs fans who cannot make the trip to Bilbao to watch the Europa League final against Manchester United still have an opportunity to experience the game in a stadium atmosphere, as Tottenham have announced their plans for the night of the final.

Less than 15,000 Tottenham Hotspur fans will be allocated tickets for the big final, which means that the overwhelming majority of the fan base will not get to experience watching their side play a big European final in San Mames, one of the historic stadiums in Spain.

Beating a club of Man United’s pedigree to win the Europa League will be a historic achievement for the Lilywhites, particularly considering that the North Londoners have won the competition just two times in their history and have not tasted any silverware for 17 years.

Supporters will thus not miss out on the chance to experience the game alongside tens of thousands of other Spurs fans, and they now have another option to do so.

Tottenham announce screening of Europa League final

The club have now announced that the final on May 21 between Tottenham and Man United will be screened live at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

They have revealed that tickets for this event will be priced at £10 for adults and £5 for juniors (under 18), along with booking fees, making it a very affordable evening.

The club confirmed on their official website that fans will be able to purchase tickets within the following designated sales windows:

Sales Window 1: 10 am, Wednesday 14 May – Season Ticket Holders (including 1882) and Premium Members will be able to purchase one ticket each.

Sales Window 2: 10 am, Thursday 15 May – All One Hotspur Members, plus Season Ticket Holders who have yet to book. We will confirm how many guest tickets each One Hotspur Member and Season Ticket Holder will be able to purchase during this window, following the sales period for Season Ticket Holders. This story will be updated to confirm the exact number.

Why Spurs fans may be nervous about this screening

Supporters will remember that the last time a screening was held at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was during the Champions League final in 2019.

Some fans may still be carrying PTSD from that game, given the way things went against the Lilywhites right from kick off and they will hope that history does not repeat itself in another European final in Spain six years later.

However, should Tottenham get over the line and lift the trophy, it will undoubtedly be one of the most memorable occasions in the lives of many Spurs fans, and the venue will be bouncing like it never has before.
