Red Sox Vs. Rangers Lineups: Connor Wong, Romy González Start
The Red Sox will look for a bounce-back win when they take on the Rangers at Fenway Park on Wednesday.
Boston dropped the first game of the series to Texas on a rain-filled night. The Red Sox fell to one game below .500 in the process, but manager Alex Cora isn’t overly concerned with the team’s early-month slump.
Romy González will return to first base, and Connor Wong will be the backstop for pitcher Tanner Houck. The right-hander hopes to earn his first win of the season after his best outing of the season last time out.
Alex Bregman also hopes to hit his 200th career home run.
First pitch for Red Sox-Rangers is scheduled at 6:45 p.m. ET, and you can catch full coverage on NESN after an hour of pregame.
