Tottenham fans praise Europa League semi-final ticket prices for Bodo/Glimt clash
Tottenham Hotspur fans are finally nodding in agreement with the club’s decision-making, after ticket prices for the Europa League semi-final were confirmed – and to many, it’s a fair call.
Tottenham Hotspur have booked their place in the Europa League semi-finals, having edged past Eintracht Frankfurt in the quarter-finals.
A composed penalty from Dominic Solanke sealed the victory for Ange Postecoglou’s side, setting up a showdown with Norwegian outfit BODO/Glimt in the last four.
The first leg is scheduled for 1 May 2025 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, before Spurs travel to Norway for the return fixture on 8 May.
Tottenham vs BODO/Glimt ticket prices delight fans
The ticket pricing for the upcoming clash has now been confirmed by the club via their official website.
According to the announcement, the BODO/Glimt fixture has been classified as a Category C game.
Supporters have largely welcomed the pricing decision, with many taking to social media to express their approval and relief.
“Good call, fair play,” said one fan. Another added, “Cat C?? Fair play for once.” The sentiment continued: “Fantastic choice making it Cat C – pack the stadium.” One more chimed in: “Finally, they’ve read the room! Need a sell-out for this.”
There were more nods of approval: “Good to see the club not pricing out fans for an important match, for once in a while,” another fan stated: “Cat C pricing for a semi-final is good. If only every day was like the last 24 hours.”
Even Daniel Levy got a rare bit of praise: “Well done Levy, you’ve done something good for once.”
Spurs must use home advantage against BODO/Glimt
Spurs need to make the most of the home leg in this semi-final. BODO/Glimt aren’t here to make up the numbers – they knocked out Lazio in the previous round and are more than capable of causing problems.
A convincing win in North London would ease the pressure before heading to Norway, where conditions and travel could come into play.
If Tottenham want to keep their European dreams alive, they’ll need to strike early, control the tempo, and ensure they aren’t left chasing the tie in the second leg.
