David Pastrnak Reveals Gift To Ex-Bruin Before Blackhawks Game
David Pastrnak met with a former Boston Bruins teammate before they faced off Thursday.
Pat Maroon announced last month that he will retire after the end of the NHL season. The three-time Stanley Cup champion didn’t play in Boston that long, but he still made an impact on the locker room.
That was shown Wednesday when Pastrnak took to his Instagram story to show he gifted Maroon a Bruins-themed cake.
“Last pro cake. Congrats on the retirement,” Pastrnak wrote on his Instagram story.
Maroon will play at TD Garden for the last time in his NHL career when the Chicago Blackhawks play the Bruins on Thursday. Puck drop for the matchup is scheduled at 7 p.m. ET, and you can catch full coverage on NESN starting with pregame at 6 p.m. on NESN+.
