Red Sox Vs. Blue Jays Lineups: Sparkplug Rookie Gets First Day Off

The Boston Red Sox will look to keep rolling Monday night as they welcome in the Toronto Blue Jays for the first divisional series at Fenway Park this season.

But the Red Sox, fresh off a sweep of the St. Louis Cardinals, will try to secure a sixth straight win without Kristian Campbell in the starting lineup.

That’s the only notable change in Alex Cora’s starting nine as the rookie second baseman will get his first day off after playing in each one of Boston’s first 10 games. David Hamilton will get the start at the middle infield spot in place of Campbell.

The Red Sox turn to Richard Fitts on the mound. Fitts has over a week of rest as he was lined up to pitch Saturday against the Cardinals but that contest got rained out. The 25-year-old tossed a quality start in his only outing of the season thus far against the Texas Rangers and will be opposed by veteran right-hander José Berríos, who owns a 3-3 record and 5.01 ERA in his career at Fenway.

First pitch is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. ET and you can catch complete coverage of the game starting at 5:30 on NESN.

Here are the lineups:
