Heung-min Son makes Harry Kane admission that could be worrying for Spurs
Heung-min Son has just made an admission about his time playing with Spurs legend Harry Kane at a time when speculation continues to run rife over the South Korean’s future.
The Kane and Son partnership is the most prolific in Premier League history, and while the pair might not have led Tottenham to trophies, they have undoubtedly written their name into the history books as one of the finest pairings to ever grace English football.
In fact, since Kane’s departure to Bayern Munich in 2023, Son has been far less effective, with the South Korean missing the England captain’s incisive through balls for him to run onto.
We might soon be at the end of an era at Tottenham as Son edges closer to the final year of his contract, and the Spurs captain has now made a confession about his former striker partner.
Heung-min Son misses Harry Kane at Spurs
Son spoke with Goal.com about the years he spent playing alongside Kane and admitted that he still misses the 31-year-old.
When asked to name the most intelligent player he has played with, the Spurs star responded: “Harry Kane.” The host then said: “That duo”, to which the Tottenham captain immediately, retorted “Dude, that duo was fun, so I still miss him, so.”
This admission from the forward comes at a time when an increasing number of reports continue to suggest that Son’s 10-year spell at Tottenham could come to and this summer.
Spurs supporters will be particularly concerned over one particular transfer rumour that has resurfaced over recent weeks.
Could Son join Harry Kane at Bayern Munich?
At the start of this month, it was reported that Bayern Munich are plotting a sensational move for Son when the transfer window reopens in the summer.
The report claimed that the 32-year-old may want a change of scenery at the end of the campaign and could welcome the opportunity to compete for titles at the Allianz Arena.
Given what Son has just admitted about missing playing with Kane, the forward might be tempted to move to Bavaria if Vincent Kompany’s men do come calling in the summer.
