Report – Arsenal eye summer move for Moise Kean

0 10

Arsenal’s search for a top-class striker is ramping up, and the latest name in the mix is Moise Kean. According to FC Inter News, the Gunners are seriously considering a move for the Fiorentina forward as Mikel Arteta expands his list of attacking targets ahead of the summer transfer window.

After failing to bring in an attacking reinforcement in January, the Gunners are determined to land a marquee No. 9. Kean, who has been in red-hot form with 19 goals for Fiorentina, has once again popped up on their radar. With the Viola pushing for a top-four finish, the Italian striker’s stock continues to rise.

Can Arsenal Trigger Kean’s Release Clause?

Kean reportedly has a €52 million release clause, a figure Fiorentina will likely demand if they are to part ways with their star man. Arsenal certainly have the financial firepower to make it happen, but they’re not the only club in the race.

Besides Kean, the North Londoners are keeping tabs on Mateo Retegui, while Inter Milan duo Marcus Thuram and Lautaro Martinez have also been linked. Arteta is expected to push for both a striker and a left-sided attacker to bolster his squad for the next campaign.

Is Kean Arsenal’s Top Striker Target?

While Kean is firmly on the radar, Alexander Isak remains Arteta’s dream signing. However, Newcastle United’s star forward would command an astronomical fee, making a deal highly unlikely.

Arsenal are also big admirers of Benjamin Sesko, a player they have tracked for multiple windows. The Slovenian forward is seen as a long-term project, similar to Kean, and could thrive under Arteta’s guidance.

With multiple targets in play, Arsenal’s summer striker search promises to be one of the biggest stories of the window. Will Kean be the one leading the line at the Emirates next season?
