Arsenal v Tottenham Starting XI’s: Richarlison returns to Spurs bench
The teams have just been announced for the huge Premier League clash between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
A huge North London derby takes place this evening
The attention turns back to the top flight after a differing FA Cup third round for both sides with Tottenham having edged their way into the fourth round after beating Tamworth, while Arsenal were knocked out following a penalty shoot-out against Manchester United.
Ange Postecoglou confirmed at Tuesday’s pre-match press conference that Timo Werner has a hamstring injury and will miss the match, while Richarlison is once again available for selection having last featured during Tottenham’s 4-1 win over Aston Villa back in November.
Tottenham’s substantial injury list continues and they will once again be without the likes of Destiny Udogie, Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven and Wilson Odobert and Guglielmo Vicario.
Postecoglou is still searching for his first win as Tottenham boss against their old foes and with points desperately needed to start climbing the table, a victory this evening could not come at a better time.
What is the Tottenham team vs Arsenal?
Postecoglou has decided to select Lucas Bergvall ahead of James Maddison, while Richarlison makes the bench along with Mikey Moore.
This is who takes to the field under the lights at the Emirates this evening:
Arsenal: Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Lewis-Skelly; Odegaard, Partey, Rice; Sterling, Havertz, Trossard
Tottenham: Kinsky; Porro, Dragusin, Gray, Spence; Sarr, Bissouma, Bergvall; Kulusevski, Solanke, Son
Subs: Austin, Reguilón, Hardy, Maddison, Olusesi, Richarlison, Johnson, Lankshear, Moore
Arsenal vs Tottenham kicks off at 8pm UK time and the match will be televised live on TNT Sports 1.
