Ford Final Five: Bruins Drop Hard-Fought Rally Against Maple Leafs

The Boston Bruins dropped their second of three contests this season to their age-old rivals the, Toronto Maple Leafs.

Morgan Geekie and Trent Frederic put up a goal a piece in the second period to keep the Bruins in the game. A pair of goals for Pasta pushed him to 15 on the season and allowed Boston to stay competitive against Toronto.

A strong effort from the B’s just wasn’t enough to stop the Leafs’ young talent in Matthew Knies. The Toronto forward netted three goals against the black and gold, and earned his first career hat trick in the NHL.
