After beating cancer, this California woman and her dog found hope on the waves and now they’re surfing together at World Dog Surfing Championships

After surviving cancer, California woman Sophia Sadlowski and her Miniature Pinscher, Rusty, found joy and strength in surfing together. What began as a puppy photo session turned into a competitive journey, taking the cancer-free duo to the World Dog Surfing Championships. Sophia Sadlowski said that Rusty started surfing when he was just four years old.
