He's a very reactive defender. He doesn't seem to sense danger and snuff it out like Bielik and Klarer do - he just reacts to whatever is happening around him and tries to get a block in.
I guess when the whole side can't defend and it's just wave after wave of attack by the opposition, that can be a useful trait and it's why he looked decent under some previous managers but now that we're trying to dominate games, we need someone with a much higher footballing IQ than Dion.
He's already 4th in the queue for playing time and unless he leaves in January, I think he'll be even further back by the time the window closes.
