Washington Spirit Semifinal at Audi Field Sells Out in 72 Hours After Quarterfinal Win

Spirit to host third sellout crowd this season on Saturday when defending NWSL champion NJ/NY Gotham FC comes to DC

 

Washington, D.C. (11/13/2024) – The Washington Spirit’s NWSL semifinal match, presented by Alarm.com, will officially be a sold-out affair, the club announced today. The sellout will be the club’s second consecutive and third of the 2024 season.

In the first 24 hours after the Spirit’s thrilling comeback win over Bay FC in Sunday’s quarterfinal match in front of a sellout crowd, the club reached over 12,000 tickets sold for Saturday’s semifinal. Just two days later, Audi Field is sold out, marking the first ever back-to-back sellouts for the Spirit at the DC venue.

In addition to reaching its third sellout in five months, the Spirit is seeing unprecedented growth on the season ticket front.
