Adrian Flux Insurance September Player of the Month

Jets’ results improved significantly in September, with five wins (one on penalties) and three losses. The month was bookended by hat-tricks from Dom Mosca in the first game against Hoddesdon and David Lopes in the final match against Deportivo. Those performances helped put both players in contention for Player of the Month, but Patrick Brander received the award for consistently high levels throughout the month.

Patrick earned two Carlsberg Man of the Match awards in the 1-0 win over London Samurai and in the away cup win at Colliers Wood; the match report for that game said he had an outstanding game and that he made a brilliant run and crossed to set up the second goal.

He also significantly impacted the match against Rising Ballers. Patrick’s pace, along with George Rice’s, changed the game, and his coolly slotted finish gave Jets the lead.
