David Gray has named his starting XI for our pre-season friendly against Watford; 7pm kick-off at Easter Road.

Our Head Coach will use this evening’s match as a training game and extension of the players’ training week ahead of our Premier Sports Cup match against Peterhead on Saturday.

With that in mind, it’s expected that the majority of his players will play 45 minutes each with runs and a gym session planned after.

The first half side sees Jordan Smith start in goal with a back four of Kanayo Megwa, Marvin Ekpiteta, Warren O’Hora, and Jordan Obita.

Nathan Moriah-Welsh, Joe Newell, and Josh Campbell are the midfield three with Martin Boyle wide right, Rudi Molotnikov wide left and Dylan Vente up-front.

The second half side will see Max Boruc in goal with a back three in-front of him comprising of Kanayo Megwa, Rocky Bushiri, and Riley Harbottle. Rory Whittaker is at right-wing, and 17-year-old Owen Calder at left-wing.

There’s a midfield three of Dylan Levitt, Luke Amos and Allan Delferrière, with Harry McKirdy and Jair Tavares up-front.

Gray is without Josef Bursik, Lewis Miller, Chris Cadden and Elie Youan this evening. Bursik has been back in training this week, but will not be risked this evening, whilst Lewis Miller has also been left out precautionary after taking a slight knock in training. Chris Cadden and Elie Youan are both unavailable due to injury.
