Leeds United Not Looking To Sell Player Despite Initial Interest From Club

0 6

Leeds United are not interested in selling midfielder Glen Kamara this summer despite initial interest from Rennes, according to BBC Radio Leeds.

Kamara has been a key player for Leeds since joining the club last summer from Rangers on a permanent deal

He was ever-present in the team as Leeds came on the cusp of getting promoted to the Premier League only to lose the playoff final to Southampton.

The midfielder has been linked with a move away from the club this summer with French top flight side Rennes believed to be interested in him.

However, it has been claimed that Leeds are in no mood to lose the player in the ongoing transfer window.

The Whites have already sanctioned the sale of Archie Gray to Tottenham and do not want to lose any more key personnel.

Leeds could now feel that they have the financial leeway to hold on to most of their best players while still adding new faces to their squad following the sale of Gray.

Rennes have shown an initial interest in the Finland international but Leeds do not want to sell Kamara this summer.
