Predicted Tottenham XI to face Brighton – Heung-min Son returns

Tottenham Hotspur welcome Brighton to North London this weekend as they look to keep pace with the likes of Aston Villa in the race for top four.

We believe that Guglielmo Vicario will remain between the sticks for the Lilywhites, with Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie also lining up in the inverted full-back positions.

Micky Van de Ven and Cristian Romero continue to be the first-choice central defenders, with Radu Dragusin still waiting for his full Tottenham debut.

In midfield, Yves Bissouma passes a fitness test to return to the pivot role, while Pape Matar Sarr lines up on the right. Rodrigo Bentancur is handed a much-needed rest after his long-term injuries.

James Maddison is Tottenham’s creator-in-chief once more, finally reuniting with Heung-min Son who lines up on the left side of attack following his Asian Cup exit.

Up front, Richarlison leads the line, while Dejan Kulusevski returns to his right-wing position. Brennan Johnson and Timo Werner drop to the bench.

Of course, it will come as no surprise if Ange Postecoglou thinks the game may come a little too early for both Bissouma and Son to start, in which case we could see Werner and Bentancur in the XI.
