[Men's Soccer] de Lange wins MSC Offensive Player of the Week Award

Behind an outstanding week -- even for his lofty standards -- Kevin de Lange's five goals and four assists, which included game-winning goals in each of the three matches that the men's soccer program at Shawnee State University played on the week, allowed the sophomore from the Netherlands to obtain his first Mid-South Conference Offensive Player of the Week honor in 2019, and the second of his career, on Monday afternoon as honored by officials within the conference.

de Lange, who is enjoying possibly the finest first half of any Shawnee State player in program history, added to what is amounting to a stellar career by posting game-winning goals in each of the three matches that the Bears played in this week, including scoring the first goals against Lourdes (3-0) and Asbury (5-0) and capping off the week with a walkoff overtime winner in the 92nd minute in a 4-3 overtime thriller over Cincinnati Christian.
