Important info for this weekend

Road bikes only

Both sessions are on road bikes tomorrow. Weather looks changeable so it would be advisable to bring a waterproof top.

Ahead of Sunday’s omnium we are also looking for volunteers to help sweep the stands, sweep the path from the stands up past the pavilion around to the Preston Drove steps, and to get rid of any intruding weeds around the track fencing (weeds should be cut back not pulled up to avoid damaging the track edging, the Council should be left to take of that). Anyone around during IR and OR are welcome to help!!

Club kit popup shop

The kit popup shop is coming on Saturday and there is a 20% DISCOUNT ON EVERYTHING! It will be there from 10.00 to 12.00. Come and try stuff on and buy what you need. Cash or card accepted.

Omnium on Sunday

We’re still a little short on volunteers especially timers for the first event, it’s really just clicking start and stop on a stopwatch, it’s that easy! If you’ve not yet put yourself forward and are around (even if for part of the day) please do let Bill know – bill@boyleperks.com

We’ll be serving tea / coffee and snacks from the cricket pavilion, any cake donations on the day will be gratefully received. Numbers of racers are down this year and the event is our biggest annual fundraiser, so cake is a great way to boost funds. And we all know that cyclists LOVE cake!

Finally, we will now be taking entries on the day on Sunday for Youth D and E riders who missed online entry, as numbers are low in those categories. If you’re track accredited, you’re welcome to race on Sunday.

Bill will be down at the track on Saturday if anyone has any questions related to the Omnium.
