Phillies-Giants game postponed due to weather; doubleheader scheduled for Thursday

PHILADELPHIA — The Phillies’ game against the San Francisco Giants scheduled for Wednesday night was postponed due to rain in the forecast, the club announced. It will be made up as part of a split doubleheader on Thursday.
The first game will start at 12:35 p.m., with tickets for the originally scheduled afternoon matchup good for Game 1. Tickets for Wednesday’s game will be good for the second game, which will begin at 5:35 p.m.
The South Philadelphia Sports Complex will now be hosting a tripleheader on Thursday with Game 6 of the first round of the NBA playoffs between the 76ers and the Celtics tipping off at 8 p.m. at the Xfinity Mobile Arena.
