WBSC approved Wooden Bat List published for 2026 international competitions

The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) has unveiled the 2026 list of Officially Approved Wooden Bats for use in its premier international baseball events.

The approved bats are eligible for competition at the WBSC Premier12, the Olympic Games, and the WBSC U-23 and U-18 Baseball World Cups, as well as all adult baseball events sanctioned by the WBSC and played under WBSC regulations.

As of 6 March 2026, one-piece wooden bats from 40 brands have met the WBSC’s equipment standards and received official approval. The certification process ensures the highest levels of quality, performance, and integrity across WBSC competitions, reinforcing the organisation’s commitment to fair play and athlete safety on the world stage.
