Morning Briefing: Orioles Re-Sign Zach Efliin

Good morning, Mets fans!

According to Bob Nightengale of USA Today, the Baltimore Orioles are re-signing starting pitcher Zach Eflin to a one-year deal.

The former longtime Phillie, now 31, has spent parts of the last two seasons with the O’s. He had a 5.93 ERA in 14 starts this year. He had a strong campaign the season prior, though, with a 3.59 ERA across 28 starts.
