Are you passionate about the Red Sox farm system and love creating engaging content? SoxProspects.com is looking for an enthusiastic Social Media Specialist to join our staff in 2026! This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your creativity, grow your digital skills, and become part of the most comprehensive source for Red Sox prospect news. We’re seeking someone who can commit through the end of 2026, with the hope of building a longer term relationship if it’s a great fit. This role will generally require a commitment of a few hours per week during the baseball season, and less during the off-season.
What You’ll Do
- Create eye-catching graphics for Twitter and Instagram that bring our content to life
- Post engaging, game-related updates during evenings during the baseball season.
- Help maintain a strong presence across platforms like Twitter, Instagram, Facebook—and possibly TikTok, BlueSky, or Threads.
- Expect to dedicate a few hours per week during the season, with a lighter load in the offseason.
What We’re Looking For
- Familiarity with SoxProspects.com and the Red Sox minor league system.
- Ability to post professionally on major social platforms.
- Flexibility to share game content during evenings (not every night, but some availability is key).
- Experience creating visual content and graphics.
- A proactive, self-starter attitude—someone who thrives with minimal oversight.
- Strong attention to detail and a basic understanding of baseball stats.
