Saturday, October 25, 2025 – Rogers Centre – 8:00 PM EST
TV – FOX
The World Series kicks off again at 8 p.m. tonight in Toronto.
The Dodgers will look to bounce back after falling 11-4 last night to the Blue Jays. Los Angeles took a 2-0 lead into the bottom of the fourth, but then allowed a game-tying homer to Daulton Varsho, then a nine-spot in the sixth, where Addison Barger capped it off with a pinch-hit grand slam.
The grand slam by Barger marked the fourth time in MLB postseason history that a player had clubbed a pinch-hit grand slam. The last one came from Miguel Montero in the 2016 NLCS, also against the Dodgers.
Yoshinobu Yamamoto takes the hill for the Dodgers, looking to build on his sparkling start last time out against the Brewers where he pitched nine innings and allowed just one run. The Blue Jays will counter with Kevin Gausman, who allowed four earned runs in six innings against the Dodgers in the 2021 NLDS.
