Morning Briefing: Francisco Lindor Had Elbow Surgery
Good morning, Mets fans!
Francisco Lindor reportedly had a minor elbow procedure after the season ended, Andy Martino of SNY reported. He’s expected to be ready for spring training.
As for actual baseball on the field, there’s just one more day left before the World Series begins. Pictures floated around social media of the Dodgers boarding their flight, with plenty of “Shohei Ohtani is en route to Toronto” jokes abound (including from ESPN’s Jeff Passan).
The Blue Jays and Dodgers take the field at 7 p.m. Friday, with the game aired on FOX. Regardless of what happens, 2025 Met José Ureña will be getting a ring.
