The Mets also announced that they have recalled Chris Devenski and Tyler Zuber from Triple-A and optioned Blade Tidwell and Justin Garza. Tidwell was optioned after tossing 3 2/3 innings on Friday, while Garza was tagged for four earned runs in two innings before being sent down.

On Saturday, the Mets snapped a seven-game losing streak with an 11-4 win over the division rival Philadelphia Phillies. New York’s offense was humming with seven home runs.
