Argentina name U-15 Women's National Softball Team for World Cup Americas Qualifier

Argentina announced their U-15 Women's National Softball Team to represent the country at the category's Pan American Championship, set to take place in Acapulco, Mexico, from 22 to 29 March. The event will award four tickets to the WBSC U-15 Women's Softball World Cup, scheduled from 27 June to 5 July in Italy.

This is the second time Argentina will participate in a continental event at this age level. However, Argentina has participated in the U-15 Women's Softball South American championships before.

The team has been part of the LA 2028 Generation programme, aiming to train elite athletes who wish to understand and grasp the demands of the process and commit to the goal of achieving Olympic qualification.

Argentina, currently ranked No. 32 in the WBSC Women's Softball World Ranking, last competed in a Women's Softball World Cup in 2017, finishing 20th in the Junior Women's Softball World Cup held in Clearwater, USA.
