[Men's Bowling] SXU Men's Bowling Runner-Up at Storm Baker Challenge

Addison, Ill. – The Saint Xavier University men's bowling team advanced to the Storm Baker Challenge Tournament Championship at Stardust Bowl in Addison, Ill. Sunday afternoon, however the Cougars were swept by Calumet College of St. Joseph (Ind.), 3-0 (191-211, 171-187, 177-256). On Saturday, SXU was 3rd of 11 teams totaling 5,034 pins and maintained their position to enter the tournament as the No. 3 seed, with 8,155 pins. In the quarterfinals Saint Xavier defeated Purdue University (Ind.), 3-1 (210-246, 210-204, 211-158, 199-150). SXU topped St. Ambrose University (Iowa), 3-1 (201-164, 191-225, 225-216, 204-185), in the semifinals.
