The Astros have scored nine runs in back-to-back games to turn a 2-1 series deficit into a 3-2 series lead. Tonight features a starting pitching rematch between Nathan Eovaldi for the Red Sox and Luis Garcia of the Astros from Game 2 of the series. A game that the Red Sox won 9-5 and Garcia pitched only one inning.

Both Yordan Alvarez and Yuli Gurriel had three hits and three runs knocked in during the Astros 9-1 win in Game 5. Lefty starter Framber Valdez twirled an eight inning gem allowing only one run on three hits.

The Red Sox bullpen has combined to allow 13 runs in the last two games. Though, their starting pitchers have gone at least five innings and haven’t allowed more than three runs in four straight games.
