Toronto Raptors Will be Shorthanded Monday

0 23

Kyle Lowry headlines a list of five Toronto Raptors who will be unavailable Monday against the Washington Wizards. Blake Murphy confirmed that Lowry is out with a foot/toe injury, Rodney Hood (hip), Patrick McCaw (knee), Jalen Harris (hip), and Paul Watson Jr. (health and safety protocols) are the other Raptors joining Lowry on the sidelines. Murphy also confirmed that Fred VanVleet’s playing status is up in the air, and VanVleet is officially listed as questionable.

The Raps were dealing with similar injury issues when they took on the Golden State Warriors on Friday, and that didn’t stop them from putting up 130 points for the second time in six games. Pascal Siakam had a game-high 36 points to go along with seven rebounds and five assists. The 57.9 FanDuel Fantasy Points Siakam put up were his second-most of the season.

Malachi Flynn was also productive off the bench, putting up a 16/5/5 night. Flynn figures to take over shooting guard duties if VanVleet can’t go.

The Wiz don’t have a high-defensive standard, allowing the most points in the league at 119.7. With the Raps offense picking up steam, we could be in store for a high-scoring game.

FanDuel Sportsbook has not yet hung a line on the game, but keep your eyes on the total when the line opens.
