John Wall Questionable Friday Versus the Boston Celtics
John Wall is listed as questionable ahead of the Houston Rockets game against the Boston Celtics Friday, according to the NBA’s official Injury Report. Wall sat out the Rockets’ game on Wednesday with left knee effusion.
There haven’t been many bright spots for the Rockets this season, but John Wall has been one of them. Wall is second in team scoring with 20.2 points, drops the most assists per game at 6.8, and grabs 3.4 boards. Wall’s scoring metrics have decreased over his recent sample, but he’s still been successful from a fantasy perspective. Over the last nine games, Wall has averaged 41.4 FanDuel Fantasy Points, bringing his season-long average up to 36.5. Keep an eye on FanDuel for Wall’s salary information on tomorrow’s DFS slate.
Sterling Brown took over the ball-handling duties with Wall sidelined on Wednesday, and his outing didn’t go to plan. Brown managed only 11 points and 11.2 FanDuel Fantasy Points, as the Rockets dropped a 120-108 decision to the Brooklyn Nets. If Wall isn’t cleared to play, expect Brown to get the start in his absence again.
