Clint Capela Ruled out Tuesday
Clint Capela will sit out of Tuesday’s matchup between the Atlanta Hawks and Houston Rockets, dealing with a lingering heel injury.
Capela last played in the Hawks’ 121-106 win against the Sacramento Kings on Mar. 13, playing 27 minutes, scoring 24 points, 14 rebounds and one assist. This season, playing 34 games, he has averaged 30 minutes, scoring 14 points, 14 rebounds and one assist per game. His 14 rebounds per game lead the league, one full rebound per game ahead of Rudy Gobert, who currently is second in the league.
Expect John Collins to see an increase in production with Capela out of the rotation. Priced at $6,500 on FanDuel, Collins sees a 26.5% usage rate when Capela is off the floor. Playing in 39 games for the Hawks this season, Collins has averaged 30 minutes, scoring 17 points, seven rebounds and one assist per game.
The Hawks are a 9-point road favorite against the Rockets on FanDuel Sportsbook, in a game with a 225 total. The Rockets allow the ninth-most points to opponents this season, averaging 113.8 per game.
