[Competitive Cheer] Competitive Cheer "Day of Duels" Set for Jan. 23
WICHITA, Kan. – The Friends University Competitive Cheer program will host this year's "Day of Duels" on Saturday, Jan. 23 starting at noon inside the Garvey Center.
In addition to the Falcons, fellow KCAC members Bethel College, Bethany College, York College and Kansas Wesleyan University are scheduled to compete. Concordia University, Baker University and Hastings College are also planning to participate.
"I am so blessed to say that our home event in 2020 was such a success that we are able to step things up a notch for 2021!" said Jill Fenske, Friends University competitive cheer head coach. "We're very excited to host the second year of the Day of Duels at Friends University!"
"The Falcons have been hard at work preparing for a new level of difficulty and excitement for our routine. Although we won't be able to fill the stands with supporters-- I'd love to have everyone tune into the live stream and show each of these teams the love and respect that they deserve! Talons Up!"
No fans will be permitted inside the Garvey Center for the event, but click HERE for the live stream.
