[Men's Basketball] ONU falls to rival St. Francis

JOLIET, Ill. – Riding a big mid-week win, the Olivet Nazarene University men's basketball team headed to the University of St. Francis (Ill.) for a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) matchup on Saturday, Dec. 8. Down just 34-29 at the half, the Tigers struggled early in the second half, watching the Fighting Saints lead increase to 16 with 10 minutes left in the game. Olivet would not go down quietly though as they cut into the lead, pulling to within six. USF battled back, taking the lead back to double digits again with under two to play. From there the Fighting Saints coasted off ONU fouls, eventually winning 80-73.
