KINGSPORT, Tenn. - Hadith Tiggs' emphatic slam dunk with 1.4 seconds remaining in the second overtime period gave the University of Rio Grande an 86-84 win over Robert Morris (Ill.) University, Saturday morning, in the men's division of the NAIA DII Show at the MeadowView Marriott Resort and Convention Center.
The RedStorm improved to 3-4 with the victory, which came on the heels of a dramatic win last weekend against Washington (D.C.) Adventist in the Bevo Francis Invitational.
Robert Morris, a member of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference, slipped to 5-3 with the loss.
