[Men's Basketball] Pierre Lys records triple-double; Men's Basketball defeats Ohio State Mansfield
COLUMBIA, Ky. – The No. 25-ranked Lindsey Wilson men's basketball team opened their 2018 home schedule with a 109-44 victory over Ohio State Mansfield on Sunday afternoon at Biggers Sports Center. Pierre Lys recorded his first career triple-double after scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and a game-high 10 assists. He also tied for a team-high three steals.
The Blue Raiders (1-1) broke the 100 point threshold for the first time this season as five Blue Raiders recorded double digit points. Fredens Deneus produced a double-double after dropping 13 points and a team-high 11 rebounds. Payton Cundiff led all Blue Raiders with 20 points as he managed to knockdown 5-of-6 three point attempts as JR Adams also found his stroke from deep, making 4-of-6 attempts from three as he recorded 16 points. Kel Stotts added 12 points.
