[Men's Soccer] Winning-streak extends to seven games with decisive victory over Calumet St. Joe
BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – Mother Nature tried her hardest to keep the Olivet Nazarene University men's soccer team from playing on Saturday, Oct. 5. As lightening delayed the start of the match twice, rain fell on and off through the entire match and the sky loomed an eerie grey hue, the Tigers were patient. Once the match started, ONU scored early and often, ending up with a decisive 7-0 win over Calumet College of St. Joseph (Ind.) in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) action. Thomas Barboza's goal in the 8th minute of action ended up being the game-winner, the goal was his seventh on the season. The Tigers sit tied atop the CCAC standings with a perfect 5-0 record and are now 8-2 overall.
