[Women's Soccer] Huge Second Half Earns Scots Victory
HANNIBAL, Mo. – The Lyon College women's soccer team returned to the pitch for a road conference match against the Hannibal-LaGrange University Trojans on Saturday. The Trojans stormed out to a 2-0 lead after two early goals in the first half. The Scots, however, responded with a goal late in the first half to cut the lead in half heading into the second 45 minutes of action. The second half was dominated by the Scots as Lyon scored four goals in the second half, giving the Scots a 5-2 victory over the Trojans.
Lyon is now 5-4-2 overall, 4-1-1 in the AMC. Hannibal-LaGrange University drops to 1-10, 0-6 in the AMC.
