[Volleyball] Bearcats down Bluefield State in Three

Brescia University squared off against Bluefield State in the second match of the 2017 Panther Invite. The Lady Bearcats took the first set in a convincing manner (25-10). The second set was identical to the first with the Bearcats winning 25-10. The Lady Bearcats would put away Bluefield State in the third set 25-17. "This was a great match for us. I got to see a lot of the freshman play and they took care of business" (Coach Forbes)

Freshman middle hitter Gracie Rothrock, who recorded 9 kills on only 10 attempts with no errors, led the Lady Bearcats. Hitting a career high .900. In addition, Freshman Kaylee McGuire ran the offense and recorded 16 assists.
